Hello! I am a licensed Mathematics teacher from the Philippines with over 9 years of teaching experience in Senior High School and nearly 2 years of experience as an online ESL teacher. I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics with the right guidance, patience, and practice. As a licensed Mathematics teacher with over 9 years of teaching experience, I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex mathematical concepts through step-by-step explanations, real-life applications, interactive activities, guided practice, and visual aids. I adapt every lesson to each student's learning pace, strengths, and areas for improvement, ensuring that they not only arrive at the correct answers but also understand the concepts behind them. A typical lesson begins with a review of previous topics to reinforce learning, followed by the introduction of new concepts using clear explanations and examples. We then work through practice problems together before students solve similar exercises independently with my guidance. Each lesson concludes with a summary of key concepts and additional practice to strengthen understanding. What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive experience teaching Senior High School Mathematics, as well as my background as a research adviser who emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
