About Leah
Hello! I’m a geoscientist with a passion for helping students succeed in Earth science. I earned both my B.S. and M.S. in Geology/Paleontology from the University of Alabama before completing my Ph.D. in Geosciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I specialized in paleoclimate and climate science. Throughout my academic career, I’ve gained experience teaching, mentoring, conducting research, and communicating complex scientific concepts in an engaging and understandable way. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, need help with coursework, or simply want to deepen your understanding of geosciences, I’d be excited to help you achieve your goals.
