About Vikas

I am presently working as Lead Engineer at HCL Technologies Hubli in Engineering and R&D services domain works on cutting-edge VLSI technologies.

Prior to this career in Industry, I have served as Assistant Professor in KLS VDIT, Haliyal for 9 years from 2013 to 2022. I am originally attracted to an academic career in large part because of the opportunities it offers for teaching and mentoring activities. I was with Infosys Technologies Bangalore as System Engineer from 2011 to 2013.

I have completed my Ph.D. from the prestigious Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in 2021, masters from MSRIT Bengaluru in 2011, and BE (ECE) from BLDEAs CET Vijaypur in 2008.

During my academic role, I was connected with the student fraternity by playing roles as Training and Placement Director, and District Coordinator for IEEE (Karwar District). I am of the opinion that, “be the best student to become the best teacher”. Because to teach something we need to learn it first.

My research mainly focuses on Analog Design and I have a special interest in biomedical circuits and devices. To comprehend my teaching skills, I have a good number of publications in national and International journals.

I am reviewer for many international journals. My current teaching interests lies at all subjects of Electronics & Electrical Stream.

About the lesson

 Provide customized support to students to remediate learning gaps based on various feedbacks.
 Excellent ability to explain and convey complex technical topics in an easy-to-absorb way.
 In-depth experience designing and developing technical training content.
 Experience creating interactive and engaging eLearning recordings.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including native-level proficiency in English.
 Expertise in designing and developing learning content in various formats such as courses,
simulations, quizzes, etc. to achieve the learning goals.
 Authoring Solutions for advanced questions from Electronics/Electrical specializations such as
Analog & Digital circuits, Control theory, Electrical circuits, Basic Electronics, VLSI Design,
Microelectronics, Signals & Systems, Communications, Digital signal processing, Research
Methodology, Python, C, C++, java, JavaScript, Web development, HTML, CSS, Matlab,
Microprocessors.
