I am a PhD-qualified Economist with over 18 years of teaching experience. I have worked with students at different levels (UAE and Germany) and enjoy helping them understand difficult concepts in a simple and practical way. Whether you need help with Economics, Statistics, assignments, exam preparation, research projects, quantitative analysis, or academic writing, I provide patient, personalized support based on your individual needs. When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
I developed an interest in economics during my university studies. I enjoyed understanding how economic concepts can explain everyday decisions as well as larger economic issues. This interest eventually led me to pursue a PhD in Economics and university teaching.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
Economics fascinates me because it helps explain how individuals, businesses and governments make decisions. I particularly enjoy how economic theory can be used to understand real-world issues and changing economic conditions.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I enjoy working with students individually and helping them with the areas they find difficult. My teaching experience helps me adjust my explanations according to the student’s level and make difficult concepts, graphs and calculations easier to understand.
Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.
I have had several good teachers and mentors throughout my academic journey. I have always been inspired by teachers who explain difficult concepts simply and encourage students to ask questions and think independently.
What are your keys to success?
For me, the keys to success are consistency, preparation and practice. I also believe that understanding a concept is much more important than simply memorizing it.
