Hello! My name is Asim, and I am an experienced Sociology educator and researcher with over 12 years of teaching experience. I hold an MPhil in Sociology, MRes in Social Science, and a PhD candidate at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland,
Throughout my career, I have taught students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them develop critical thinking, academic writing, research skills, and confidence in Sociology. I am an experienced Sociology tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience at A-Level and undergraduate levels. My teaching approach focuses on making complex sociological theories, research methods, and contemporary social issues easy to understand through real-world examples, discussion, and exam-focused practice. I tailor each lesson to the student's learning style and academic goals, whether they need help with coursework, examinations, research projects, or dissertation writing.
I hold an MPhil in Sociology, MRes in Social Science at the University of Aberdeen and currently a PhD sociology candidate. I have extensive experience teaching Sociology, research methods, SPSS data analysis, and academic writing. Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes and are suitable for GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate, and postgraduate students seeking support in Sociology and social science research.
