About Chimwemwe

Chimwemwe is currently a development and education psychology PhD Student with Central China Normal University under the Chinese Government Scholarship. His PhD thesis focuses on Youth Mentoring experiences and the psychological development of refugee youth in Malawi. Chimwemwe is a recipient of the prestigious UK Government-Chevening Scholarship and holds an MA in Development Studies(with credit) from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. Chimwemwe did his BA in Media for Development(with credit) at the University of Malawi.

Chimwemwe has worked with, volunteered, and consulted in the areas of media, public relations, communication, education and youth development for the University of Oxford, United Nations Development Programme, British Council, the World Bank, Chevening secretariat, Jesuit Refugee Services, United Purpose, Action Aid, Girl Effect, Kwera Fund, National Youth Council of Malawi and the Malawi Human Rights Commission.

Chimwemwe has been recognised among the last 68 runners of the World Bank Group 2018 Social Inclusion Heroes Competition as a young commonwealth change maker-Malawi by the British high commission-Malawi, Queen Young Leaders Advisory Mentor, 2018 Obama Leader, 2019 JCI 10 Outstanding Young Persons of Malawi, and 2019 Top 100 Young Independents in the Influencers category.

About the lesson

I provide one to one coaching virtually with a monthly subscription. My sessions run for 50 minutes, where I give my clients feedback or assignments to improve their application documents or thesis.
