About Dr Pranami
I am a PhD in Biotechnology with post-doctoral research experience and more than 15 peer-reviewed international publications in Scopus- and PubMed-indexed journals, along with two published book chapters. My academic and research journey has given me a strong foundation in Genetics, Molecular Biology and Life Sciences.
I have always enjoyed understanding how biological processes work and, equally importantly, explaining them in a simple and understandable way. I am patient, curious and approachable, and I encourage students to ask questions without hesitation.
As an online Biology tutor, I want to create a friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their doubts, exploring ideas and developing confidence in the subject. I believe that good teaching is not only about providing answers, but also about encouraging students to think, question and discover.

About the Class:
I believe Biology should be understood, not simply memorised. I am a PhD in Biotechnology with post-doctoral research experience and 15+ peer-reviewed international publications in Scopus- and PubMed-indexed journals. My research background is in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Down syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease, aging and sleep science.
In my Class 9 Biology lessons, I bring this scientific experience into the classroom in a simple, age-appropriate and engaging way. I use storytelling, everyday examples, diagrams, questions and interactive discussions to help students understand difficult concepts rather than memorising textbook answers.
A typical class begins with an interesting question or real-life example, followed by concept explanation, interaction, doubt-clearing and a short recap. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently and connect what they learn with the world around them.
My classes are intended for Class 9 students who want to build strong Biology fundamentals, gain confidence in the subject and develop genuine curiosity about life sciences. My goal is to help students not only perform better academically, but also discover the joy of understanding Biology.
