About Dragos

I hold a PhD in Political Science (International Relations and Comparative Politics) from Carleton University, along with previous degrees earned in Canada and Europe.

Over the course of my academic career, I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Carleton University, (Ottawa), the University of Ottawa, and the Canadian Forces College (Toronto).

I bring extensive academic and professional experience in research design, academic writing, literature reviews, thesis and dissertation development, and graduate-level scholarship. My approach combines methodological rigor with practical strategies that help students plan, organize, and successfully complete assignments, major research papers, theses, and dissertations on schedule.

Whether you are refining a research question, developing a methodology, conducting a literature review, strengthening your academic writing, or navigating the thesis process, I provide personalized coaching and guidance tailored to your goals. My objective is to help students build confidence, strengthen their research and writing skills, and achieve academic success while maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity.

About the lesson

My focus is on helping students develop stronger research skills, clarify their ideas, build well-structured arguments, and move efficiently from an initial concept to a completed academic project.

I provide support in:

- Literature reviews and evidence synthesis strategies
- Research design (qualitative and mixed-methods approaches)
- Thesis and dissertation planning and structure
- Academic writing, organization, clarity, and editing
- Policy analysis and broader social science research

My approach is coaching-based and collaborative. Rather than doing the work for you, I help you strengthen your own research process by developing clearer questions, stronger methodologies, more effective structures, and more confident academic reasoning.
