I am a native of Spain with over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish, combined with UK qualifications, including a PGDipED from the University of Birmingham. In my lessons, I take a distinctive approach to teaching grammar and speaking by seamlessly integrating both elements. Instead of isolated drills, I introduce grammar in context, using real-life conversations and scenarios. This allows students to see how grammatical structures function in natural speech. We then practice speaking through interactive activities, such as role-plays and discussions, where students apply the grammar they’ve learned in a communicative setting. This approach not only strengthens their understanding of grammar but also boosts their confidence and fluency in speaking.
