About Elizabeth
About My IB Classes
My classes are specifically designed for the IB environment, where deep understanding, critical thinking, and strong writing skills are just as important as theory.
First Class Free
In our first free session, I get to know the student’s needs and goals. I assess:
• their current level,
• study habits,
• upcoming assessments (IA / EE / TOK),
• difficulties, strengths, and expectations.
With this information, I create a clear, personalised plan fully aligned with IB requirements.
My IB Methodology
1. Clear and contextualised explanations
In subjects like Global Politics and ESS, the key is understanding processes—not memorising terms. I use real-world examples, international cases, news articles, and step-by-step explanations until everything truly clicks.
2. Professional writing support
Strong writing is essential in the IB. I help students develop:
• structured and coherent arguments,
• effective use of evidence,
• clear and academic English,
• correct referencing,
• confident analytical writing for TOK, IA, and EE.
3. Guidance for Internal Assessments (IA) and the Extended Essay (EE)
I support students through the full process:
• formulating a research question,
• structuring the work,
• analysing evidence,
• developing coherent arguments,
• refining the final draft.
My role is to guide, not to do the work. I teach students how to think, improve, and progress independently.
4. TOK (Theory of Knowledge)
I help students strengthen reasoning, conceptual clarity, and the structure of their essay or exhibition. We work on expressing ideas clearly and confidently.
How a Typical Class Works
• Brief review of previous content.
• Clear explanation of the day’s topic.
• Targeted IB practice (writing, analysis, case studies, comparisons, etc.).
• Guided correction with constructive, actionable feedback.
• Final mini-summary so the student leaves confident and clear.
What My IB Students Can Expect
• Clearer understanding of complex concepts.
• Stronger writing and higher performance in IA, EE, and TOK.
• Reduced stress and more control over workload.
• Personalised, honest, and consistent support.
My goal is for every IB student to gain confidence, understand the programme deeply, and progress with calm, clarity, and independence—both in class and in their internal assessments.

My name is Elizabeth, I'm 24 years old, and I'm a PhD candidate in International Relations. I work in academic research, but I've also spent years explaining social sciences in a clear, accessible way, tailored to the IB level. I love helping students who need extra support to understand complex concepts, prepare for internal assessments, or improve the quality of their English essays. Being young allows me to easily connect with IB students: I understand their pace, their workload, and the specific challenges of a demanding program. At the same time, my university education gives me the necessary tools to offer serious, high-quality support, both conceptual and methodological. I consider myself approachable, patient, and very organized. I listen carefully before teaching because every IB student has a different profile: some need conceptual clarity, others writing support, and still others structure and consistent guidance. My goal is for them to feel supported, at ease, and confident that they can succeed in the program.
