About Finn

I am an enthusiastic ESL tutor with 8 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over the years, I have guided 150–200 students, helping them improve their English skills and gain confidence.

I am passionate about teaching because I believe that learning English opens doors to new opportunities. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, making lessons simple, practical, and engaging. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practising.

A proud milestone in my career has been helping students transform from hesitant learners into confident English speakers. Many have improved their grades, excelled in presentations, and participated actively in class.

I customise lessons based on each student’s learning style and pace. My mission is to inspire students to enjoy learning English and achieve their full potential.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology emphasises building confidence, practical application, and consistent progress. I use real-life examples and case studies—such as workplace conversations, academic discussions, travel scenarios, and everyday interactions—to make lessons engaging and meaningful. Students actively practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing through structured and interactive exercises.

Motivation is central to my teaching; I support students with achievable goals, positive feedback, and recognition of their progress. When challenges arise, I apply problem-solving strategies to clarify grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, ensuring comprehension and improvement. Integrity guides my approach, and I maintain honesty, professionalism, and respect in every session.

Flexibility allows me to tailor lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style. In addition to ESL, I also teach spoken English, business communication, academic writing, and grammar fundamentals.
