About Connor

With 7 years of experience as a flute tutor, I am passionate about guiding students from school to college level in their musical journey and helping them build strong skills and confidence. My journey with music has taught me the importance of patience, discipline, and regular practice, and I bring these values into my teaching.

I have worked with many students, helping them progress step by step and achieve their goals. A major milestone in my career has been seeing students perform confidently in events and competitions, which reflects their dedication and hard work. My teaching approach is clear, patient, and student-focused, emphasizing essential techniques such as breathing control, tone production, finger coordination, and rhythm.

I also ensure that lessons are engaging and enjoyable so students stay motivated. I believe that music education plays an important role in personal development, and my goal is to inspire students to continue learning and build a lifelong connection with music.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching flute combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to provide a balanced and enjoyable learning experience. I believe that learning music should be both fun and meaningful. I start by understanding each student’s learning pace and goals so I can adjust my teaching style accordingly.

I motivate students by encouraging regular practice and celebrating their achievements, which helps them stay motivated. Communication plays an important role in my teaching, as I explain techniques like breath control, fingering, posture, and tone quality in a simple and easy way.

With integrity, I ensure that students learn the basics properly and build a strong foundation. I guide them patiently and provide honest feedback. Creativity allows me to make lessons engaging by including songs, exercises, and different learning methods. In addition to flute, I also teach music basics like rhythm, scales, and listening skills to enhance overall understanding.
