About Luka

Biography: Luka Božanić

During his education, he distinguished himself by winning prizes in many competitions. He participated in the Koblenz Guitar Festival, has been an active participant in the Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade since the foundation of this manifestation and in many other festivals in the country and abroad, where he also attended masterclass workshops with distinguished professors (Hubert Kappel, Carlo Marchione, Judicaël Perroy, Zoran Dukić, Aniello Desiderio, Costas Cotsiolis, Denis Azabagić, Paolo Pegoraro, Ana Vidović...). He is engaged in pedagogical work and is one of the founders and an active member of the association "Belgrade Guitar Society" (bGd). He graduated from the "Josip Slavenski" secondary music school, solo singing department, in Belgrade in the class of Vesna Opsenica. Together with guitarist Vuk Dragičević, he presented his project, bringing the music of the English Renaissance closer to the domestic audience, performing works for two guitars and guitar and voice. He is an active member of the Artysh lab team, where he performs interactive, entertaining and educational concerts for babies and children. He also organized three concert seasons in Petrovac na Mlava, where numerous classical guitarists from the country and abroad performed alongside him. His students are winners of numerous awards in the country and abroad.

About the lesson

Playing an instrument in children encourages progress and development in children in many fields.
In addition to the skill of playing itself, the development of musicality and creativity, learning to play brings many other benefits: it stimulates both hemispheres of the brain, encourages the development of motor skills, coordination of movements, stimulates imagination, emotional development - recognition and expression of emotions through music, affects the development of speech, gives better results in other fields as well - above all in learning foreign languages or mathematics, encourages children to create and express themselves in a unique way...
I adapt the pedagogical work to the abilities and character of each child.
Individual approach to each student, innovative work methods, constant progress, work on playing technique, constant development of musicality, listening to music and familiarization with various musical genres and directions...
I also prepare children for extraordinary advancement. I introduce the children to the instrument and we work on musical literacy (reading notes, understanding rhythm, basics of music theory, musical nuances, movement coordination...).
Teaching takes place in a cheerful and working atmosphere with dynamic and challenging requirements.
