About Mariana

Nice to meet you, Mariana! Your Portuguese teacher.
The person who will wait for you with a smile on his face and news to lead you to a light and pleasant learning of the Portuguese language.

I am 35 years old, married, I have a daughter and I have a degree in Pedagogy from PUC - GO Over the course of more than ten years of my professional life, I have collected vast experience in the classroom, pedagogical coordination, school support and other areas of education.

My experience with Portuguese classes for foreigners started more or less at least two years ago when I started teaching a few words to a cousin's husband. Everything went right and suddenly, there Mariana was having fun and creating material for the students that were showing up!

Students from Canada, USA, Argentina and other corners of this world will pass me by. And I'm just gratitude for everything I've learned from them. Because learning is a two-way street. Who teaches, always learns!

About the lesson

My classes are all online, I prepare the classes according to the student's needs.

• What is your goal for learning Portuguese, would it be for work, travel, learning about the culture, communicating with friends… ? Share with me. I'm sure that after each class you will have more knowledge and be more excited for the next one.
• I send the class material in advance, so you have time to take a look at it, do a research, I also like to send homework and correct it together with the student.
• My focus is to help the student with pronunciation, comprehension, interpretation of texts, grammar, writing.
• My classes are super dynamic, I always try to speak like you to feel comfortable using the words you know and I correct your mistakes. I have used this method with my students and they enjoy it and learn.
