About Oluwatobi

Teaching allows me to combine my passion for maths with my desire to support others. I enjoy creating lessons that are clear, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they feel encouraged, challenged, and inspired. For me, tutoring isn’t just about getting the right answer—it’s about building understanding, curiosity, and a love for learning that lasts beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

I focus on creating a clear, structured, and engaging learning experience for each student. My approach combines step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and interactive problem-solving to help students not just memorise formulas, but truly understand concepts. I adapt my teaching style to each learner, ensuring that lessons are paced to their level and learning preferences. I also encourage questions and frequent practice, as I believe active engagement is key to mastering maths.

Lesson Structure & Length

Typically, lessons last 60 minutes, which allows time for reviewing previous material, teaching new concepts, and solving practice problems together. For younger students or those new to a topic, lessons can be adjusted to 45 minutes to maintain focus and energy.

Qualifications & Experience

I have a strong background in mathematics and hands-on tutoring experience helping students improve both their confidence and performance. I’ve successfully supported students from GCSE through A-level, helping them grasp difficult topics, prepare for exams, and achieve measurable improvement in grades. My experience includes teaching one-on-one and small group sessions online, which has honed my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to each student’s needs.

Target Students

My lessons are suitable for school-aged students, typically ages 11–18, covering GCSE and A-level maths. I can also support younger learners who want to build a strong foundation or advanced students preparing for further studies in STEM subjects.
