About Lola

I am an enthusiastic Spanish tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. During my tutoring journey, I have taught approximately 150–200 students from diverse educational backgrounds and skill levels. My teaching approach focuses on personalised learning because I understand that every student has different goals, strengths, and challenges.

Each lesson is carefully planned to meet the individual needs of the learner while covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I combine structured learning with interactive activities, practical conversations, and real-world examples that help students understand how Spanish is used in everyday communication.

I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and practise regularly. I believe confidence grows through consistent communication and positive reinforcement. My lessons are designed to create a comfortable environment where mistakes become valuable learning opportunities instead of obstacles.

One of my unique skills is building customised learning plans that allow students to progress at a pace that suits them best. I regularly assess improvement, provide meaningful feedback, and adjust teaching strategies whenever necessary. This flexible approach has helped many learners achieve better academic results and stronger communication skills.

Accountability is at the core of my approach, encouraging students to set clear goals, take responsibility for their progress, and stay motivated throughout the learning journey.

Integrity ensures lessons are honest, fair, and adapted to each student’s abilities and needs. I practise Flexibility by adjusting lesson plans, teaching strategies, and activities to match different learning styles, ages, and proficiency levels. Communication is key; I engage students in conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help them practise fluency and comprehension naturally.

A Positive environment nurtures confidence, encourages curiosity, and celebrates achievements, making learning enjoyable and rewarding. I also integrate related subjects such as grammar, literature, cultural studies, and practical vocabulary exercises, giving students a well-rounded understanding of Spanish and preparing them to apply their skills effectively in everyday situations.
