About Rosa
Hi! My name is Rosa, and I'm a native Spanish speaker from Peru. I'm currently studying Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation while continuing to improve my English, which helps me communicate with English-speaking students and understand the experience of learning a new language.
I'm a patient, friendly, and motivated person who enjoys helping others learn. My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable practicing Spanish and asking questions.
My lessons focus on authentic, everyday Latin American Spanish. Together, we'll work on pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, and conversation skills through practical situations and natural communication. I'll adapt each lesson to your level and learning goals, whether you're learning Spanish for travel, work, studies, or personal interest.
I believe learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building. I'm excited to share my language and a bit of Peruvian culture while helping you become a more confident Spanish speaker. I look forward to meeting you!

As a native Spanish speaker from Peru, my goal is to help students gain confidence speaking Spanish in a natural and enjoyable way. I create a friendly and relaxed environment where learners feel comfortable practicing without fear of making mistakes. Since I also speak English, I can explain vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in a way that is easy for English speakers to understand.
Teaching Method and Techniques
My lessons focus on real-life communication rather than memorizing long grammar rules. I help students improve their pronunciation, listening skills, vocabulary, and conversational fluency through interactive discussions, role-playing, and practical examples. I adapt each lesson to the student's level and personal goals, whether they want to travel, work, study, or simply communicate more confidently in Spanish.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson begins with a short conversation to practice speaking and review previous topics. Then, we introduce new vocabulary or grammar in context, followed by pronunciation practice and interactive exercises. We finish with a conversation using what we learned and suggestions for practicing between lessons.
What Sets Me Apart
As a native speaker, I can teach authentic, everyday Spanish, including natural expressions, pronunciation, and Latin American culture. I am patient, encouraging, and understand the challenges English speakers face when learning Spanish because I have also learned English myself.
