About Octavia

I bring a strong foundation of professionalism and real-world credibility to every lesson. I completed two years of medical school, hold a biology degree with a chemistry minor. I've spent years working in regulated healthcare environments where precision and accountability are non-negotiable, including passing a CMS federal audit with zero findings. Beyond my academic background, I have direct experience tutoring students through Kaplan's MCAT program and supporting neurodivergent learners with patience and structure. You can trust that I show up prepared, communicate clearly, and take your learning seriously.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around patience, clarity, and genuine connection. With a medical school background and coursework spanning biology, chemistry, and physics, I bring deep subject knowledge to science, math, and reading instruction at every level. I also have hands-on experience supporting autistic and ADHD learners, adapting my pace and communication style to fit how each student actually learns best. Every session is structured, encouraging, and tailored to your goals, whether that's building foundational skills, catching up, or preparing for a big exam.
