About Teacher Severine
Hello! My name is Teacher Severine, and I am a patient, friendly, and dedicated tutor with a TEFL certificate. I enjoy helping children develop their English skills and become more confident in their learning.
I believe every student learns differently, so I aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying again. I prepare colourful, interactive lessons using PowerPoint presentations, pictures, games and practical activities to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
I am passionate about helping young learners improve their reading, spelling, grammar, vocabulary and everyday conversation skills. I also teach Afrikaans and enjoy adapting my lessons to each student's age, ability, and individual learning needs.
My goal is to help every student make progress at their own pace while building confidence and developing a positive attitude towards learning. I look forward to supporting you on your learning journey!

I offer friendly, patient, and engaging online English lessons for children and young learners. I hold a TEFL certificate and enjoy helping students build confidence in speaking, reading, spelling, grammar, and everyday conversation.
My teaching style is supportive, interactive and adapted to each student's age, English level and learning needs. I use colourful PowerPoint lessons, pictures, games, guided questions and fun activities to make learning enjoyable and easier to understand.
In a typical lesson, students practise speaking in English, learn new vocabulary, build sentences, improve their reading and spelling, and develop their grammar skills. I encourage students to participate, ask questions, and try their best in a relaxed, positive learning environment.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and school-age children who want to improve their English, practise conversation, strengthen their schoolwork, or become more confident using the language. I also aim to help students develop at their own pace, with encouragement and praise along the way.
I can teach in English and Afrikaans where appropriate to support understanding. Every student is different, so I aim to make each lesson enjoyable, practical, and suited to the student's individual goals.
