About Heather
I’m an English tutor who enjoys working with young learners and helping them build strong foundations in reading, writing, and grammar. I take a patient, supportive approach and focus on explaining things clearly, at a pace that feels comfortable for each student. I have experience helping students with reading comprehension, grammar practice, proofreading schoolwork, and basic résumé building for older students who are beginning to prepare for jobs or academic opportunities. My goal is to help learners feel more confident using English—not just completing assignments, but truly understanding the material. Lessons are structured yet flexible, and I adapt my teaching style to match each child’s needs. I aim to create a calm, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.
