About Jeffrey

Hello! My name is Jeffrey Bermudez and I am a kind, patient and enthusiastic college student with a passion for math and helping others succeed academically.

I attended Diablo Valley College and Contra Costa College where I excelled in my classes by completing eight college level math classes: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I, II and III, Business Statistics, and Linear Algebra with an A in all of my classes.

In addition to my scholastic achievements, I am also a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

My interest in tutoring began when I would help my little cousin with her math homework. By doing this, I not only helped her to understand math better, I also found it to be deeply rewarding.

I have found that math can be very challenging at times, especially if one does not enjoy it.

When tutoring, I like to give the student a comfortable and welcoming environment to learn in.

Students learn at different paces, and I think it is important to be patient and explain to students in a way that they could understand.

Even though I am majoring in Spanish, math has become my great passion.

I believe that besides helping the student to excel in his or her math class, I can also help the student to feel confident and independent in math.

I would be honored to help you on your academic journey!

Mathematics does not have to be scary or unpleasant! Through proper guidance and encouragement, I believe anyone can be successful and improve their mathematical skills.

Hello there! My name is Jeffrey Bermudez and I am a hardworking college student with a passion for mathematics and education! I am currently attending Diablo Valley College and Contra Costa College, taking eight math classes within my community college journey, such as: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I, II, and III, Business Statistics, and Linear Algebra, and I've earned an A in ALL of my courses!

In addition, I have helped my younger cousin with her math homework and have realized how important it is to be patient and to help others understand and have fun while learning mathematics.

Moreover, I would love to assist you in becoming a better and more confident math student.

I offer my services as a tutor to you and anybody else who wishes to improve their math abilities. You will not only learn the answer to the math problem, but you will also learn the reason behind the answer.

Therefore, you will gain better skills in critical thinking and problem solving through my guidance and encouragement.

If algebra, precalculus, calculus, or statistics is giving you a hard time, I will be here to educate, entertain, and support you throughout your journey to success.
