About Cris
Since I was young I have always had a passion for math and creative pursuits. (Thus, I am both right and left brained) My creative background enhances my ability to teach a dry topic in an engaging, visual way; and my passion for Math helps me instill curiosity in my students. My greatest strengths as a teacher are my patience in re-teaching as often as necessary, and my ability to take a complex concept and break it down into digestible chunks. There is no greater reward than seeing the lightbulb go on over a student’s head when they suddenly grasp a concept.
