About Kira
Hello, my name is Kira and I am a first-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Hertfordshire. I have a strong background in Science and Maths and a real passion for helping younger students succeed. My lessons are clear, structured, and encouraging. I focus on breaking topics into simple steps, checking understanding, and building confidence so pupils feel ready to tackle challenges on their own. Reliable and patient, I aim to create a positive learning environment where every student can make progress.

I make my lessons interactive and student-focused, aiming to explain difficult concepts in a clear and simple way. I like to break topics into smaller steps, use examples from everyday life, and check understanding with practice questions. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to build their confidence so they can solve problems on their own. A typical lesson lasts about one hour, though I can adjust depending on the student’s needs. Lessons are designed for KS2 and KS3 pupils who would like extra support in Science and Maths, whether it’s homework help, exam preparation, or strengthening their overall understanding. As a first-year Biomedical Science student, I bring both subject knowledge and enthusiasm for learning. While I am still early in my career, I have experience supporting younger learners from working as a tutor for the past year, and I enjoy helping them develop the study skills that will serve them in school and beyond.
