About Lauren

I hold a BA in Philosophy from Princeton University and a Research Master’s in Education from Université Paris 8. My background in philosophy shaped my love of logic, argumentation, and close reading, while my work in education deepened my commitment to thoughtful, student-centered teaching.

I have over a decade of experience working in social justice organizations as a teacher and program facilitator. My commitment to social justice and helping others initially drew me toward law school and led me to the LSAT in the first place. The test also immediately appealed to me because it fit so naturally with my love of philosophy and analytical thinking. Although I genuinely loved studying for it, the process ultimately helped me realize that what I felt most passionate about was not law itself, but teaching and supporting others.

I ultimately chose to stay in the fields of education and advocacy, but my love for the LSAT stayed with me. I’m excited to help prospective law students master the test and move toward their goals.

I also know from experience that progress on the LSAT is possible. I raised my own score from a 165 to a 175 in a few months by spending hours figuring out how the test works. I love helping people make difficult intellectual challenges feel more manageable and gain confidence in their abilities.

About the lesson

I scored a 175 on the LSAT and have helped students improve their scores significantly, in some cases by up to 20 points. Although I ultimately chose not to pursue law school myself, I genuinely loved studying for the LSAT and continue to find the test intellectually engaging. I care deeply about helping students master the test and achieve their law school goals.

My teaching style is patient, analytical, and individualized. I work closely with students to build the skills and habits they need, while adapting lessons to their specific strengths, challenges, and goals.

I have a BA in Philosophy from Princeton University and a Research Master’s in Education from Université Paris 8, which shape both my understanding of logic, argumentation, and reading comprehension, and my broader approach to teaching and learning.
