About Ivy

I’m a guitar tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music, majoring in guitar. Music has always been my passion, especially composing and arranging for solo guitar and ensembles. I love helping students discover their own musical voice while building solid skills. My teaching style is supportive and engaging, focused on clear goals to keep you motivated. I work with school students, hobbyists, and professionals alike, tailoring lessons to fit your needs. I specialize in scales, modes, songwriting, rhythm training, and stage performance. These areas are key to becoming a confident and well-rounded musician. Over the years, I’ve helped students progress from intermediate to advanced levels. I also support those preparing for professional work, whether it’s auditions, performances, or recording sessions. About the lesson
