About Fatima

Hello! I’m Fatima Shaikh, and teaching is not just my profession—it’s my passion. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the joy of helping hundreds of students grow in English, Hindi, and Math, and what keeps me going is seeing that moment when a concept finally "clicks" for a student. That spark—that confidence—is what I live for. I started teaching because I truly believe that every child can succeed with the right support and encouragement. Over the years, I’ve worked with students across CBSE, ICSE, and SSC boards, both in India and internationally. I’ve taught in classrooms, led cultural events, trained students in elocution, and now—thanks to technology—I teach students online from the comfort of their homes. I specialize in making difficult topics simple and relatable. Whether it’s breaking down a tricky grammar rule, simplifying math with Vedic techniques, or helping a child express themselves confidently in Hindi or English, I bring patience, clarity, and care to every session. I teach English, Hindi, and Mathematics to school students from Grades 6 to 10, across CBSE, ICSE, and SSC boards. ‍ Teaching Techniques & Methods I use a student-centered approach that adapts to each child’s learning pace and style. My classes are interactive, concept-focused, and aim to build strong foundational understanding. For English, I blend grammar, vocabulary, and writing with fun exercises, storytelling, and real-life examples. Class Structure Each session typically follows this format: Quick review of previous topics or a short quiz Concept explanation using examples and visual aids Practice exercises with guided support Doubt clearing and recap Homework or extension tasks for reinforcement I also use digital tools like Google Meet, online whiteboards, and interactive PDFs to keep online sessions dynamic and effective.
