About Zoe

I am a trained teacher with 21 years experience. I have recently taken a career break in order to spend time with my family but wish to maintain my passion for teaching. I have been a headteacher for the past 8 years and would like the opportunity to share my enjoyment of the English language to pupils. Having worked in Slough I have also got experience and a certificate for teaching English as a foreign language.

About the lesson

My teaching method is very much led by the individual and I embraced the personalised learning approach. I fully believe that in order to enable the best state for learning that you need to know the individual well. I plan my lessons based on personal interest and apply a practical approach to learning wherever possible. I believe that success is the key to enhancing ability in pupils and provide a positive feedback and reward system in order to motivate pupils to take on bigger challenges. This has been proven to harness pupils full potential.
