About Em

QUALIFICATIONS: I studied a Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Education (honours) - with a specialization in Zoology. I am committed to becoming the best educator I can be :-) I work at a private school in Melbourne's western suburbs and currently teach Year 8 Science and Year 10 Biology classes. EXPERIENCE: I have contracted myself as a tutor to Alchemy and Cluey Learning, which are big online tutoring companies. I was a volunteer VCE Biology tutor for Monash Virtual School. However, I also accept students privately via SuperProf. I have worked in childcare, Sunday schools, I have done placement as part of my university course, and I was a high-achieving secondary school student in 2019. I've also studied VCE Biology as a student myself from 2017-2018, taught it on placement and I am up-to-date with the latest study design. MY DREAM: I dream to one day teach VCE Biology. I truly believe in every student and I'm here to help students learn with confidence!

About the lesson

LESSON DURATION: 1 hour online or in-person at local library. Can negotiate a time that is best suited. Learning should be enjoyable and taken at the appropriate pace for each individual learner. FIRST LESSON FREE: I like to grasp how learners are doing and ask how they enjoy learning best. I find out what areas of the curriculum my students excel at AND need improvements with. I embrace mistakes as they are what help us learn :-) MY GIFT TO YOU: Knowledge is a gift and I am passionate about sharing this gift. I am incredibly experienced with delivering quality online/in-person sessions. I truly look forward to helping future students the best I can :-D
