About Levi

I first fell in love with Spanish while volunteering in South America, surrounded by its warmth, rhythm, and expressive energy. That experience sparked a journey that led to eight years of dedicated teaching. Over time, I’ve worked with hundreds of students, helping each one connect to Spanish in their own way — as a practical skill, a career tool, or a cultural passion. My teaching philosophy centers on positivity and adaptability. I see language learning as deeply personal, so I create lessons that honor each student’s pace and interests. Whether through conversation, storytelling, or film analysis, my goal is to make every session meaningful. I bring humor, patience, and cultural insight to every interaction. When I’m not teaching, I love exploring Spanish cinema, reading Latin American poetry, and cooking regional dishes — all of which influence my lessons. Teaching Spanish has allowed me to blend my love for communication, travel, and people into one fulfilling purpose. Watching students use the language to open doors in their lives is the most rewarding part of what I do.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are designed around the belief that language learning is most powerful when it feels alive. I bring conversation, music, and storytelling together to make Spanish accessible and engaging for all levels. Each session focuses on connecting words to experiences, so students can retain what they learn in real, memorable ways. By turning lessons into cultural journeys, I make sure learners not only speak Spanish but live it.

For beginners, I emphasize pronunciation, essential grammar, and everyday phrases to build a strong foundation. Intermediate students work on complex tenses, situational fluency, and confidence in expression through dialogues and creative activities. Advanced learners dive into literature, debate, and professional communication, refining accuracy and cultural sophistication. Lessons are tailored individually, blending grammar structure with creative exploration.

Watching students grow fluent in Spanish has been one of my greatest joys. I’ve seen shy learners become eloquent speakers, hesitant readers fall in love with Spanish literature, and travelers hold conversations abroad with ease. My teaching goes beyond vocabulary — it’s about connection, courage, and cultural empathy. Through language, students gain perspective, compassion, and a voice that reaches far beyond the classroom. My goal is to guide them to that point where Spanish becomes not just a subject, but a part of who they are.
