About Shamim

I am an Astrophysicist, in love with maths, physics, chemistry, natural sciences, and of course stars! I love teaching and I believe the best way to use your knowledge is to transfer it to the next generation. I have proudly done so in the last 10+ years. I believe the world needs more scientists thus I try my best to encourage everyone to join this beautiful field.

About the lesson

Having over 10 years of experience in tutoring Maths, Physics, and Chemistry; for GCSE, A-level, and university, has helped me to find the best methods to teach. I have been proudly honoured to be able to help a significant number of students to join the STEM field. Teaching science has always been a joyful experience for me. I try my best to teach my students to think like a scientist, ask critically and curiously, and explore the universe in scientific ways. Organising a warm and friendly environment for the student to disentangle their mind and let their thoughts and questions flow gradually. I am open to scientific questions, different methods, and opinions, and I try to look at the subject from different frames of reference. I listen carefully and I try to answer every question precisely. I have arranged lesson plans, settled goals, and prioritised tasks, and I try to stick with the plan throughout my lessons. My teaching methods and speed is adjusted according to the student's ability. Mentored to encourage students to strive to be the best they can as well as enjoy learning. I have tried my best to support my students, help them build their confidence, and make them want to succeed. I, myself try to learn, research, and be scholars throughout my lessons to make sure both the student as well as the teacher (myself) be working hard together to achieve our goal.
