About Quentin

I am a passionate piano tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience. I have had the privilege of teaching students from schools, colleges, and working professionals, helping them discover the joy of music at every stage of life. My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to express themselves through music. I focus on understanding each student’s unique learning style and pace, ensuring that lessons are engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to their goals. Over the years, I have guided numerous students to perform at school and college recitals, competitions, and community events. I emphasize both technical skills and musical expression, making sure my students not only play well but also connect emotionally with the music. About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Piano focuses on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I aim to help students learn piano with confidence and enjoyment. Lessons are designed to suit each student’s learning ability and interest.

I begin with piano basics such as posture, finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm accuracy, and reading notation. These fundamentals are practiced using clear explanations and demonstrations. As students advance, I introduce scales, chords, and expressive playing. Flexibility allows lessons to adjust as students progress.

Collaboration is encouraged through open communication and shared goal-setting. Students are involved in choosing music and tracking progress. Practice guidance is provided for effective learning at home.

Positivity defines my teaching style. I motivate students with encouragement and supportive feedback. Mistakes are treated as part of growth. In addition to piano, I teach music theory basics, rhythm skills, ear training, and performance confidence. My goal is to nurture confident and motivated piano learners.
