About Kylie

I earned my degree in Theoretical Physics and have spent nine years guiding students through the intellectual and conceptual beauty of the subject. My journey began with a fascination for how unseen forces could shape visible reality. Teaching physics allows me to share that wonder while helping learners break through fear and confusion into understanding and confidence. My teaching style emphasises clarity, patience, and visualisation. I encourage students to express confusion openly, using it as a stepping stone for discovery. Every lesson is guided by the belief that physics is not meant to intimidate but to inspire investigation and understanding. I adapt methods for each learner and ensure that complex theories are broken into approachable, interconnected ideas. Outside formal teaching, I stay engaged in scientific reading, educational research, and conceptual analysis to keep my methods aligned with current understanding. Physics, for me, is not just academic study — it is a lifelong exploration of truth, curiosity, and discovery, and guiding students through that journey continues to be one of my greatest purposes.

About the lesson

Physics explains the forces that shape the universe, and my lessons focus on making those invisible principles understandable and inspiring. I encourage students to question, observe, and connect physical concepts to the world around them. From motion and energy to waves and electricity, every topic becomes an exploration of how reality operates beneath the surface. I create a learning environment that nurtures curiosity, encouraging learners to think deeply and explore concepts through both imagination and structured scientific reasoning. At the beginner level, students explore basic motion, forces, light, and energy conservation. Intermediate learners move into thermodynamics, magnetism, wave behaviour, and applied formulae. Advanced students analyse complex systems, solve multi-step problems, explore modern physics topics, and use simulations to visualise abstract concepts. I combine experiments, models, and problem-solving tasks to strengthen both understanding and application. As students grow in knowledge, they develop a new way of interpreting the world. They learn to see patterns in natural phenomena, question assumptions, and draw meaningful connections between theory and reality. Physics becomes a source of empowerment — strengthening confidence, inspiring curiosity, and nurturing a deeper appreciation for the laws that govern existence.
