Hello, I’m Eliana! Professionally, I am a medical doctor, but my lifelong passion has always been languages, culture, and human connection.

You might wonder how medicine and language teaching connect. As a doctor, my daily life is built on empathy, patience, active listening, and a highly structured approach to problem-solving. I bring this exact same level of professionalism, dedication, and care into every single tutoring session. Beyond being a teacher, I am also a dedicated language learner. I currently speak four languages, which means I know exactly what it feels like to be in your shoes. About the lesson

I believe that language learning is most effective when it is genuinely engaging and completely tailored to the student: I design 100% personalized lessons based on your unique goals, interests, and learning pace.

To keep our classes dynamic, I blend classic, structured tools (like textbooks and standard grammar exercises) with innovative teaching methods. We won't just stare at a book—we will regularly use music, videos, podcasts, and real-world media to help you absorb the language naturally. This modern approach ensures you aren't just memorizing rules, but actually understanding how native speakers communicate in real life.

A Typical Lesson Plan
To make sure you develop well-rounded skills, I use a mixed approach in every session. A typical 60-minute class includes a balance of conversation, grammar, reading, and listening:

Warm-up (10-15 min): Casual conversation to get you comfortable, break the ice, and get your brain thinking in the target language.

Core Structure (15 min): Introduction of a new grammar concept or vocabulary set using clear, classic teaching materials.

Interactive Practice (20 min): Applying what we just learned through multimedia. This might involve breaking down the lyrics of a popular song, analyzing a short video clip, or completing a targeted listening exercise.

Production & Review (10 min): Free conversation or role-play using the new vocabulary, followed by gentle feedback and setting goals for our next class.
