About Shilpa

I am a Math teacher. I teach Math and Science up to 10th grade. I have done Master of Science (M.Sc.) with Statistics, B.Ed. (Math & Science). I have an experience of 3 years of teaching. I am certified with Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) both the levels primary and middle as well. I am capable of teaching in English and Hindi languages.

About the lesson

I focus more on conceptual understanding of Math over rote memorization. I approach the topic in a simple to complex manner. I believe in learning by doing so I ensure active participation of students in my class. I try to connect Math to their daily life by which they can understand it easily.

I was preparing for competitive exam and was aiming for a particular college…however I had a serious phobia for mathematics.I had taken Shilpa ma’am’s classes for almost 6 months and she was so patient with me..sometimes teaching one chapter for one month.She taught me everything from scratch and actually made me think mathematics and her classes made me realize that math is not as tough as it seems.Right before my exam she had given me extra hours and stayed up with me late at night.She was there very patiently throughout my journey .I am happy to inform that I made it to my dream college with an all India rank 39..It was a math intensive paper but was worth it.Her last min revisions also helped me a lot.Highly recommended faculty.
