About Gary

I've always had a passion for teaching since from a young age. I recall I used to help teach my family and friends maths in college.

I'm a mathematician at heart, and completed my masters degree in mathematics about 8 years ago. While I was there, I was keen to share my knowledge and volunteered to tutor at a local school teaching various GCSE subjects.

After graduating, I decided to pursue a career in software, and since then, have worked in several software engineering roles, working on various projects, building apps and websites.

Throughout my career I have trained apprentices and junior members of the team to develop their abilities as software engineers.

I'm super excited to be a part of your learning journey!

About the lesson

The lessons are flexible, and driven by your needs. Depending your level of experience, we can start exploring concepts from the ground up, or expand on concepts in more detail.

If you can please tell me what you want to get out of this and your current level of experience, I will endeavour to provide you a tailored learning experience to meet those requirements.

We all learn in our own way - this is something I have learned from my experience of teaching. I put effort in to learn how you learn so that I can optimise what you get out of our lessons.

Whether you are preparing for an upcoming exam, developing a deeper understanding of concepts for your work or passionate about mathematics like myself, I'm all ears and ready to provide the help you want.
