About Korrey

I'm a very ambitious individual who sees obstacles as opportunities to learn and grow. One of my goals as an educator is to instill this same philosophy into my students. I show up consistently for my students each session with a level of excitement, eagerness, and enthusiasm. When we meet I focus on remediation/enrichment in addition to incorporating fun throughout the learning process.

About the lesson

My name is Mr. Korrey. I'm a passionate licensed veteran teacher with 18+ years of classroom experience who specializes in K-6 Elementary Education. During my tenure as a teacher, I've taught various students utilizing state standards and research based curriculum. Over the years, I have acquired a multitude if strategies and techniques in order to reach scholars of all walks of life. After all learning isn't a one size fits all solution. Recently, I resigned from teaching in the classroom to pursue a career as a full time tutor. Educating our youth is a calling in which I don't take lightly and enjoying see students matriculate from the services received to a level of confidence and independency. My approach is simple provide an assessment to determine strengths and needs. Create a personalized plan based off results. Build a rapport with the student while implementing the plan and watch them grow.
