About Catherine
I am passionate about teaching languages. I have taught languages in UK secondary schools for 3 years. In addition I have taught English as a foreign language to children and adults in Greece, France, and Colombia.
I have a PGCE (University of Manchester) and a CELTA qualification.
As an Oxford graduate in Linguistics, I use my knowledge of language-learning to offer the best for my students. In addition, I have recently finished a Masters in Education from the University of Manchester.

I am sensitive to learners' needs and adapt my teaching to suit them. I am used to adapting my teaching towards particular requirements and would ensure I know the requirements for any qualifications you are working towards. I can work with children and adults, with a range of teaching styles for engagement. I ensure pupils practise a range of skills, are able to communicate, and understand grammar. I also am keen to expose pupils to cultural materials from Anglophone countries.
