About Althea

Hello! My name is Althea, and I am a friendly, patient, and dedicated English tutor who is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and improve their communication skills. I have six months of experience personally tutoring three children in English, helping them strengthen their reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary through personalized lessons.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and adapted to each learner's pace and goals. I encourage students to ask questions, practice without fear of making mistakes, and celebrate every achievement along the way.

My lessons typically begin with a review of previous topics, followed by new learning, guided practice, interactive activities, and constructive feedback to ensure steady progress. My goal is to make every class enjoyable while building strong English skills and self-confidence.

I welcome children, beginners, and elementary to intermediate learners who want to improve their English for school, travel, work, or everyday conversations. If you're looking for a patient tutor who genuinely cares about your success, I would be delighted to help you reach your English learning goals.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Althea, and I believe that learning English should be enjoyable, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. I have six months of experience personally tutoring three children in English, where I helped them improve their reading, speaking, writing, grammar, and confidence in using the language.

My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I use simple explanations, engaging conversations, reading activities, vocabulary practice, and interactive exercises to make every lesson effective and enjoyable. I adapt my teaching style based on each student's learning pace and goals.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous topics, followed by introducing a new concept through examples and guided practice. We then reinforce the lesson with activities, conversations, or exercises before ending with a short recap and personalized feedback to track progress.

What sets me apart is my patience, positive attitude, and commitment to helping every student build confidence. I understand that every learner is different, so I personalize each lesson to match their strengths and areas for improvement.

My lessons are ideal for children, beginners, and elementary to intermediate English learners who want to improve their speaking, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, or overall communication skills. Whether you are learning English for school, travel, work, or personal growth, I will help you achieve your goals at a comfortable and enjoyable pace.
