About Ijeoma
Hello there! I’m a 35-year-old English tutor currently based in the United Kingdom. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree and a 150-hour TESOL certification from Arizona State University (USA). Right now, I’m furthering my expertise by pursuing a Master’s degree in Education, specialising in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). I have been teaching English since 2017, working with learners across a wide range of age groups and proficiency levels. I currently teach English language lessons to Grade 4 and Grade 5 students and also deliver ESL instruction to both children and adults. My teaching approach is dynamic and learner-centred, incorporating TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling), the use of props, and task-based learning methods to create engaging and effective lessons. I focus on helping learners enhance their English speaking and conversational skills, ensuring steady progress towards their language goals. I am available to begin lessons immediately and look forward to supporting students in their English learning journey.
