About Joseph
My name is Joseph Rebak and I am a part-time Science and Maths tutor, teaching Key Stages 1 – 3. I am a 23 year old student at the University of Sheffield and will be returning to complete my final year at the end of September.
I have been lucky enough to grow up with some fantastic schoolteachers whose enthusiastic and passionate approach to teaching has motivated me to succeed. I know that an enjoyable and supportive teaching environment can result in better academic performance. For this reason, I understand the importance of making lessons fun and informative.
Learning a new topic can often be challenging for young people. As a tutor, I would manage this by speaking to students at a level and pace they can easily understand. I would offer positive feedback and reinforce learnt knowledge from previous lessons by providing short recap questions at the beginning of each session.
Given the circumstances, I am willing to host virtual and in-person lessons.
