My name is Tushar, and I approach teaching chess with sincerity, patience, and a structured mindset. I focus on building strong fundamentals, encouraging logical thinking, and helping students improve through regular practice, clear explanations, and a positive, supportive learning environment.

My teaching approach

I believe chess is best learned through clarity, practice, and enjoyment. As a teacher, my focus is on building strong fundamentals first and then gradually introducing strategy and tactics in a simple and structured way. I adapt my teaching style based on the student’s age, level, and learning speed so that every student feels comfortable and confident while learning.

My teaching methods include:

- Step-by-step explanation of basic to advanced concepts

- Learning through real game examples and practical positions

- Regular problem-solving exercises to improve tactical awareness

- Playing guided practice games with feedback after each session

- Encouraging students to think independently instead of memorising moves

Typical class structure:

- Quick revision of the previous lesson

- Introduction of a new concept (opening ideas, tactics, or endgames)

- Practical exercises or puzzles related to the topic

- Practice game or position analysis

- Clear feedback and simple homework for improvement

What makes my teaching different:

- I focus on understanding why a move is played, not just what move is played

- I keep classes interactive and engaging, especially for kids

- I am patient and supportive, ensuring students are never afraid to make mistakes

- I help students build concentration, logical thinking, and confidence through chess

Who my classes are for:
