About Devanand

I am a Mathematics teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience at a reputed international school, working with students across Grades 9–12 in diverse curricula. Over the years, I have guided students with different abilities, learning styles, and academic goals — from those who struggle with basics to those aiming for top board scores.
Teaching Mathematics has never been just a profession for me — it is something I genuinely care about. I have seen how the right guidance can transform a student’s confidence, mindset, and performance. Many students fear Math, not because they cannot do it, but because they were never taught in a way that made it clear and meaningful.

I want to share my knowledge because I believe strong foundations and patient mentoring can unlock a student’s true potential. Helping students overcome their fear, build logical thinking skills, and achieve results they once thought were impossible gives me immense satisfaction.

For me, success is not only about high marks — it is about seeing students grow in confidence, independence, and belief in themselves.

About the lesson

Focused Learning That Truly Makes a Difference

I genuinely believe every student can score high in Mathematics — they just need the right guidance and the right strategy. My approach is not about rushing through chapters. Instead, I focus on building strong foundations first and then gradually guiding students toward solving challenging board-level questions with confidence.

I begin with the basics to make sure concepts are crystal clear. Once the foundation is strong, I carefully scaffold learning — breaking down complex problems into simple, step-by-step methods so students understand the why behind every solution, not just the steps.

I provide thoughtfully designed worksheets — chapter-wise practice, mixed problem sets, and past board papers — so students get consistent exposure to exam-style questions. Along the way, I closely observe each student to identify gaps or weak areas and work patiently to strengthen them.

Regular revision, structured practice, and continuous feedback help students stay on track. With one-to-one attention, students feel comfortable asking questions freely, building both clarity and confidence.

My aim is not just better marks — it’s developing confidence, accuracy, strong problem-solving skills, and ultimately achieving excellent board exam results.
