About Tanushree
Hi! I’m a final-year Microbiology student and I’ve been tutoring for the past four years. I first started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy Biology and I like being able to make a subject that can seem complicated feel much more manageable.
Outside of my studies, I have a strong interest in science and research, and I enjoy learning about how Biology applies to the world around us. I enjoy hiking, video gaming and reading.
I’m quite easy-going and approachable, and I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable enough to ask questions and say when they don’t understand something. Whether you’re preparing for an exam or simply trying to get a better grasp of Biology, I’m here to help!

My lessons are adapted to every student’s needs. No two students will have the same experience. I favour understanding over speed, and I make sure lessons are interactive. Students are also regularly assessed to track their progress and identify areas that need more attention.
My lessons typically range from 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s age and level.
I currently have four years of experience as a tutor across various examination boards, including PSAC, NCE, CAIE O Levels, IGCSE, IB, AQA and CAIE A Levels. As such, my classes are suitable for students ranging from Grade 5 to BSc level.
I am currently a final-year undergraduate student in Microbiology, with experience in both laboratory work and academic research. Lessons can be conducted in English, French or Mauritian Creole, depending on the student’s preference.
