About Okoye
Hello everyone, I'm Miss Chidera, and I’m so excited to be your teacher. I am currently studying Biochemistry, and I have both online and offline teaching experience. Teaching has always been close to my heart because I grew up around it — my mom is a well-respected educator and guidance counselor, and through her, I discovered how powerful education can be in shaping lives. I want to teach because I believe learning should be engaging, supportive, and enjoyable. For me, teaching isn’t just about passing on knowledge; it’s about helping each of you grow, discover your strengths, and gain confidence in your abilities. I enjoy making lessons clear and practical, so you can connect what you learn here to the real world. Most importantly, I want to create a classroom where you feel comfortable, curious, and motivated to do your best. I’m looking forward to learning with you, guiding you, and celebrating your progress every step of the way.

I am currently an undergraduate student of Biochemistry with two years of combined offline and online teaching experience. During weekends, I dedicate my time to online tutoring, focusing on Year 1 to Year 4 students following the British curriculum.
I come from a strong educational background, with my mother being a renowned educator, online tutor, and guidance counselor. Under her mentorship, as well as through other professional training bodies, I have completed courses on effective teaching and learning, as well as classroom management.
My teaching approach emphasizes both instruction and evaluation. After every class, I assess my students’ understanding through homework assignments and provide monthly assessments to measure progress and ensure comprehension.
I specialize in teaching English Language, Mathematics, and Sciences, tailoring my lessons to meet the needs of each student while creating an engaging and productive learning environment.
