About Robyn
Having graduated from Central Saint Martins BA Jewellery Design, with a Foundation Diploma in Visual Communication at Kingston University, I have direct experience of both the application process to, and teaching style of, two top universities for art and design in London.
It is important to me that arts education is delivered in a dynamic and engaging way, balancing traditional skills with conceptual thought in a way that is not always offered in a school curriculum. As a Jewellery Design Ambassador for Central Saint Martins, I helped to plan and deliver fashion and sculpture workshops and public outreach programmes for institutions such as the Tate and the British Museum. My experience also extends to working with charities, secondary schools and private art clubs.
Having experienced working with a variety of ages and abilities, I tailor my sessions to the individual, working to bring out their strengths and develop confidence. I am able to provide support with portfolios for GCSE and A-Level Art, as well as applications to Art Foundation and degree level courses. As a practicing silversmith and jeweller with 5 years experience in the industry I also offer more specific skills-based tutoring for jewellery design, technical drawing and making.
