About Adele

As an engineer with 10 years of experience, I've developed a deep appreciation for how math is applied in real-world situations. I'm passionate about using my experience to help make math more relevant and practical for my students.

My teaching approach is centered around creating a supportive environment where my students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring maths concepts in-depth. I believe that maths is a vital life skill that can open doors to many exciting opportunities, and my goal is to help my students develop a strong foundation in maths that they can apply in practical ways.

Having taught junior engineers and students at college, I have experience working with a variety of learners at different levels. Whether my students are struggling with the basics or looking to take their skills to the next level, I'm here to help.

I take pride in my professionalism, commitment to excellence, and my dedication to making maths a fun and rewarding subject. With my expertise and passion for maths, I'm confident that I can work with my students to achieve their goals and have fun while doing it!

About the lesson

As a maths tutor, my approach is centered around creating a friendly, approachable learning environment that helps boost confidence and encourages students to engage with the material. I believe in applying real-life scenarios to make maths more relevant and interesting. I use various teaching techniques, such as interactive exercises, visual aids, and personalised lesson plans to cater to each student's individual learning style and pace.

My typical lesson length is 30-60 minutes, depending on the student's needs and availability. I have A-levels in maths and further maths, a first-class Masters degree in Engineering, 10 years of experience as an engineer, and I am a Chartered Engineer. My lessons are designed for years 7 to 11 students, including GCSEs.

With my qualifications and experience, I can provide expert guidance on a wide range of maths topics, and my friendly approach ensures that students feel comfortable asking questions and working through any difficulties they may encounter. My goal is to help students develop a deep understanding of math concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals.
