About Dhruv

A Message from Your Future English Teacher – Dhruv Ponia Hi everyone, My name is Dhruv Ponia. I completed my schooling under the ICSE board and I'm currently pursuing my B.Tech degree from Amity University. While engineering is my academic path, English has always been a subject I’m deeply passionate about—and that’s why I’ve chosen to teach it. You might wonder why someone in a technical field wants to teach English. The answer is simple: I believe language is power. It helps you express your ideas, tell your story, and connect with the world. Throughout my own journey, English has helped me grow in confidence and creativity, and now I want to share that with you. I’m not here just to teach grammar and literature. I’m here to help you discover how language can shape your thinking, improve your communication, and open up new opportunities. My goal is to make learning English interesting, practical, and different from what you’re used to. This class will be about more than just rules and textbooks. We’ll focus on understanding, expressing, and exploring English in a way that actually makes sense in your everyday life. I’m excited to learn with you, laugh with you, and grow with you. I want to start this class by promising you one thing: this won’t be just another typical English class.

Yes, we’ll read, write, and analyze—but how we do it will be different. I believe English is not just about grammar rules or essay formats. It’s about finding your voice, understanding others, and learning to express yourself with confidence and creativity.

Here’s what will make this class stand out:

We won’t read just to finish a book—we’ll read to feel it. We’ll explore stories that matter, stories that make you think, laugh, or even argue.
Writing won’t be a formula. I’ll teach you to write with purpose, with style, and in your own voice—whether it’s a poem, a story, or a persuasive argument.
Mistakes are welcome. This classroom is a safe space to try, fail, and try again. That’s how real learning happens.
You’ll have choices. I’ll give you freedom to choose topics, genres, and projects that interest you—because your experience matters.
We’ll connect English to real life. Whether it's job interviews, social media, or spoken word, English is everywhere—and we’ll use it in ways that feel real and relevant.
