About Ryan
After obtaining the French and German baccalaureate (Abitur) I headed for a preparatory class and then a business school. I thus carried out three long-term stays in Germany, including a professional experience. In the meantime, I have been a private tutor many times, because I enjoyed it but also to make pocket money. I consequently taught more than a dozen students.

I mainly work with middle school students, high school students, and beginners / amateurs generally speaking. A preliminary interview (email / telephone or face-to-face) allows me to identify my scope of action and the student's objectives. The first lesson will assess the level of the student and their learning style. In the case of schoolers, I prefer two-hour sessions, the first being devoted to homework and the second one to deepening a concept seen in class. Adults generally have personal reasons for learning German (close people living in Germany, future employment, cultural appeal ...). In this case these motivations guide the learning. The student co-builds the course and learns in priority what will serve their objectives the most.

Details
I rather plan two-hours sessions. From my experience, it allows a deeper work on several skills and grammar rules. That being said, I am perfectly aware that one's schedule or learning rythm does not always allow that. This is a constraint I am used to and can work with !
