About ROMAN
Roman Das is renowned percussionist artist on the world stage, was marked with a valiant pronouncement that his musical aspiration was to “Play the Unplayed.” He is listed as a distinct form of performance for the most eminent exponents of dhrupad vocal and instrumental in Indian classical music and alongside percussion ensemble, all kinds of Indian Classical Dance, theatre and story recitations projects.
Roman has also had a prosperous and wide-ranging 20 years of career that has seen rewarding and memorable musical alliance and with such great modern musicians as Padmashree Gundecha Brothers, Ustad Bahaduddin Dagar, PadmaVibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh and many more.
Roman Das, Pakhawaj is the soulful instrument of beats with melodic patters with diverse beats. His depth in musical originality is no easy feat.
