Joseph is an excellent young teacher whom I know from a prestigious London day school where I witnessed him give very interesting tutorials to students on fields as broad as Historical Linguistics and the roman poet, Horace. Throughout my time at secondary school, I have had several wonderful occasions to see Joseph give presentations and talks to younger year groups. One thing that stands out is his ability to speak coherently and concisely about language and linguistics. His insightful presentations were one of the main reasons I decided to take my language learning more seriously (consequently at Undergraduate Degree level) and he allowed me to discover more unique areas of study that I had neither conceived of nor considered previously. He certainly developed my interests literarily as well as linguistically, and his knowledge on French is especially sound.
